Abstract
4A GARNEY CHANNEL GRATE, containing a frame and rods fixed on it, forming transverse cells, characterized in that, in order to improve the zoohygienic animal housing conditions by providing access to the udder for its sanitary treatment, the rods are bent in their middle facing upwards, moreover, the vertices of the bends are aligned with each other. ® SP 4
Description
The invention relates to agriculture and is intended for use in machine tools for keeping, milking and sanitizing animals.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the animal welfare conditions of animals by providing access to the udder for its sanitization.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of the manure channel grate, general view; in fig. 2 - the same, front view.
The manure channel grill contains a frame 1 and bars 2 fixed on it, forming transverse cells. The rods 2 are made with a bend 3 in their middle, trimmed up. The tops of the bends 3 are aligned with each other.
The grid is used in the following way.
In order to sanitize the udder, the animal is driven into a machine in which the manure channel grill is longitudinally installed. The width of the machine and the length of the lattice are chosen so that the animal's hind legs are located on the lattice. When an animal tries to stand on the top of a bend, 3 bars of its 2 hooves will slide off and shuffle, sideways until they stand on the plane of frame 1. Thus, the animal's hind legs will be in a divorced state, which makes it easier to access its udder for sanitization, for example, before milking.
