Abstract
FIELD: organic chemistry and technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of derivatives of 4-thiazoline carboxylic acid of the formula (I):where R is hydrogen atom, lower alkyl or dihalide(lower)alkyl based on mercaptoamino-derivatives of acids. Method of synthesis involves interaction of cysteine with ortho-ethyl ester of the formula (II): R-C(OCH)where R has above indicated values at 90-110 C. Alternative method involves the use of cysteine and ortho-ethyl ester of the formula (II) at mole ratio = (0.5-0.85):1, respectively. EFFECT: simplified technology, broadened assortment of the end products.
