The invention relates to feeding devices primarily for short wood products and can be used in forestry, pulp and paper and woodworking industries.

Known feeder, including the base, receiving hopper with outlet window in the side wall, turntable and drive, while the turning platform has a dome-shaped form 1.

The disadvantage of the known feeder is low working efficiency due to the fact that all short-sized timber loaded in the middle of the turntable are moved in the radial direction and accumulate around the walls of the receiving hopper around the circumference. Short-sized timber with a dense mass overlaps the outlet window, which makes it much more difficult for them to order the longitudinal conveyor.

The closest in technical essence and the achieved result to the invention is a disk feeder including a hopper with an outlet window in the side wall, a base and a turntable mounted thereon with a working surface, support rollers and a drive, while the turntable platform is made of a multi-disc composite 2 .

The disadvantages of this device are the complexity of the design, which reduces the reliability of operation, and more metal and energy consumption. This is due to the presence of a large number of significant in size, complex in design and difficult to manufacture rotating parts, the complexity and bulkiness of the drive.

The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability and reduce energy consumption.

This goal is achieved by the fact that in a disk feeder for short timber, including a receiving hopper with an outlet window in the side wall, a base and a turntable mounted on it with a working surface supporting rollers and a drive, the base

equipped with sloping slides, placed on the path of movement of track rollers, and the rotary platform is provided with concentrically located protrusions on the working surface.

The disk feeder contains a receiving hopper 1 with an outlet window in the side wall, a turntable 2 and a drive 3. The turntable 2 is supported through support rollers 4 on a concrete base 5, made with single-slope b, located symmetrically on the track of the support rollers 4. Turning platform 2 made with concentric protrusions 7 on the working surface. The drive shaft is connected to the hub of the turntable by a slit joint 8. Conveyor 9 serves to carry short-sized timber for further processing.

The feeder works as follows.
