Abstract
A LED light unit, comprising at least one LED (4), a housing element (2) for the LED (4) and a cover element (5) mounted over the LED (4). The housing element (2) is made of a first thermally conductive polymer material. The LED (4) and the cover element (5) are also integrally associated to the housing element (2) to form a unitary light unit therewith.
