Abstract

The invention relates to a packaging unit (1) for a mineral-wool product having a wrapping made of sheeting material, paper or the like, with a carrying aid which is arranged on the outside of the packaging unit and beneath which the user can grip. According to the invention, the carrying aid used is a strip (4; 4') which is connected to the outside of the wrapping (3) by adhesive bonding or sealing, the connection being interrupted in at least one carrying region (41; 41') beneath which the user can grip. In this case, the carrying region may butt likewise tightly against the outside of the mineral-wool product, with the result that there are no overhanging parts. Nevertheless, the user can then utilize the elasticity of the mineral wool to grip easily beneath said carrying region. This makes it easy for the user to lift and carry the packaging unit (1).

Description

Technical field

The invention relates to a package unit of a packaged mineral wool product comprising a wrapper of wrapping material, paper and the like, in the form of a roll or stacked plate assembly, with a support means disposed on the outside of the package unit which the user can catch for gripping.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The commercially available parcel units of packaged mineral wool products are usually bulky, causing problems in manual transport. This is usually the case when the bale units have to be locked and gripped using both hands to avoid the situation in which the bale units slip off when carried or when the user has to grasp the resilient cover sheet with both hands to support the mineral wool product hold, although this requires increased gripping force of the fingers on the one hand, and on the other hand, it can cause damage to the cover sheet material. In particular, when multiple package units are transmitted one after the other, this results in relatively strenuous work for the user, especially when large areas such as roofs and the like are to be insulated. Moreover, such parcel units have a considerable weight, for example more than 15 kg, which makes them even more impractical to carry.

For this purpose, a package unit has already been proposed in EP 0 287 177 A1 in which a shrink film is used for packaging a roll of mineral wool product, the roll itself being provided with fastening strips to prevent unwinding. Here, the carrier carrier is formed by a carrier strap that is tensioned axially around the bale unit. That is, the carrier strip is not attached to the bale unit so that the user can grasp it, grasp it on all sides and carry the bale unit.

carrier tape. This problem increases especially when the support strip is not grasped in the center of gravity of the package unit. The uneven load distribution then results in the user's hand being introduced on both sides of the user's arm with different force, so that the area of the support band that is exposed to less load can be released from the bale unit. This known transfer aid thus requires careful handling by the user and is susceptible to failure. Under these circumstances, it is therefore difficult and time consuming to carry multiple parcel units one after the other. Thus, this prior art solution has not found its application in practice, mainly because such support strips are too expensive and can also easily become trapped in obstacles.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a package unit of a mineral wool product having an economically efficient carrier that is easy to handle so that the user can carry the mineral wool product easily and without any particular instructions.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This object is achieved by a package unit of a packaged mineral wool product comprising a wrapper of wrapping material such as foil, paper and the like, in particular in the form of a coil or stacked plate assembly, with a carrier means disposed on the outside of the package unit. to carry out the grip, which is based on the use of a strip attached to the outside of the package by gluing or other sealing, the connection being broken in at least one carrying area which the user can grasp for gripping.

The package unit according to the invention can thus be easily reliably held by the user in order to carry it by hand to the desired destination. For this purpose, the at least one support area can be arranged in particular at a particularly suitable point, with the result that a situation in which the user catches the bale unit at a point which is particularly unfavorable in terms of weight distribution is reliably avoided. This simplifies handling and greatly reduces physical strain.

Furthermore, this means that for the first time it is possible to carry bulky and bulky and / or relatively heavy bale units in hand with little effort and without the use of

The use of a carrier strip on the outside of the package provides considerable advantages in that it is not possible to slide the package unit in the carrier or even to slip it out. It is thus possible, for example, for a large-volume bale unit, which, due to its dimensions, cannot be fastened directly from above, to be reliably fastened from one side without the risk of slipping.

The degree of attention to be gained in the wear process using the invention is thus considerably less than that of the prior art, without increasing the risk of damage to the mineral wool product by improper handling. This allows considerably more package units to be transferred in a given period of time when using the invention than was the case in the prior art.

Furthermore, it is advantageous that the package unit according to the invention can be easily carried by hanging on the arm, since the carrying area allows a reliable fastening.

Furthermore, the carrier according to the invention is particularly suitable for packaging of mass-produced units since, according to the invention, large portions of the tape are fixed to the bale unit by gluing or other tight attachment, with the result that overhangs are eliminated and the carrier portion is very low, and the bonding process of the carrier can be automated.

In particular, the package unit according to the invention is characterized in that it can be manufactured easily and reliably and is easy to handle and can easily be lifted and carried by hand and can be easily handled at the destination.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if the cover is of such rigidity that, in particular during the wear, there is substantially no undesirable tapering of the strip in the wear area by its lateral pulling or folding. This allows the bale unit to be conveniently gripped in the carrier area, because instead of concentrating the load on one or more folds of the carrier area, it is evenly distributed over substantially the entire length of the band below which the hand is palpable and therefore over a large area of the hand, can be carried even more conveniently.

If the at least one support region has a length of 10 to 30 cm, preferably 20 cm, and a width of 2 to 8 cm, preferably 3 cm, the user's hand can have a comfortable grip. The width of the wear area is here selected so that it is well positioned in the hand.

Alternatively, the at least one wear area may be of a length such that it can be gripped in the manner of a sports bag or bag, or at least two wear areas can be of such length that they can be grasped as a backpack. It is then possible for the bale unit to be carried on the back, which further facilitates its carrying. Furthermore, it makes it possible to exclude that the transmitted parcel unit interferes with the view of the user on the transfer path. Another advantage of these arrangements is that both of the user's hands remain free, as a result of which he can move more safely in areas that are relatively problematic in terms of movement, such as on the roof, scaffolding, ladders, etc.

It is particularly advantageous if the package unit has two diametrically arranged carrier areas, since it is then possible for the user to grab the carrier area that is most suitable for him without the need for the package unit to rotate to a greater extent. Furthermore, it is also possible for two people to carry the parcel unit, of which one worker can grab one carrying area. In the arrangement of the carrying areas for carrying in a backpack-like manner, the formation of two carrying areas in each case allows the package unit to be carried on the user's back relatively reliably, holding on both sides.

It is further preferred that the strip is formed as more or less one piece, i. so that it orbits the bale unit and its ends overlap each other. This greatly facilitates the preparation and attachment of the carrier strip to the bale unit, since it allows automation in mass production.

Since, in use, at least one carrier area is positioned over or symmetrically with the center of gravity of the bale unit, the task of carrying the bale unit is further simplified. In particular, uneven load distribution can be avoided and the user does not have to try to maintain the equilibrium.

Furthermore, since the package unit is designed such that the carrier is in the form of a strip attached to the outside of the package by gluing or other than fusible attachment, and the connection is broken in at least one carrier area which preferably also fits tightly to the external package unit but below It is possible to take advantage of the particular material properties of the mineral wool product, in particular its elasticity. According to the invention, it has been found that in this case the elasticity of the mineral wool allows the region of the strip which is not adhered to abut against the outside of the article when the article is not in use. As a result, there is no attachment point at which the parcel unit could become trapped when it is manufactured or transferred. At the same time, however, the elasticity of the mineral wool allows the user to grasp the wear area without the need to exert any significant force for this purpose and without compromising wearing comfort. Furthermore, it is also possible to realize the features of the dependent claims on this embodiment corresponding to claim 12.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of the package unit 1. It comprises a mineral wool roll 2 surrounded by a wrapper 3 formed of a plastic film material. A carrier strip 4 surrounding the roll 2 is further deposited over the wrapper 4. The strip is preferably made of polypropylene and has a thickness of 80 gm. However, other plastics, such as polyethylene or polyester, are also suitable for the strips, and it is possible for the thickness of the sheet material to be from 50 to 100 gm.

In this case, the wear strip 4 is designed as a type of one-sided adhesive tape surrounding the wrapping 3 of the foil material 3 on the roll 2 so that the ends of the wear strip 4 overlap one another. The overlapping arrangement also has material advantages that allow the subsequent attachment of the carrier strip to be automated. In addition, the carrier strip 4 is disposed in the middle of the length of the coil 2, which results in the center of gravity of the package unit being in the area surrounded by the carrier strip 4. The adhesive used is acrylic here, suitable for this purpose.

With regard to the stability and / or stiffness of the carrier strip 4 in this region, on the other hand, the stability and / or stiffness can be reinforced with a PE strip having a thickness of 50 to 60 μιτι used as cover. The carrier strip 4 is attached to the wrapper 3 of foil material or paper so that it is suitable for mass production, more particularly for a roll 2 formed by a so-called roll. Then the roll 2 is laid and the support strip 4 is wrapped around its center so that both ends of the support strip overlap each other. Alternatively, it is also possible for the coil 2 to be rotated such that the support strip is circumferentially secured around it.

Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of the bale unit 1. In this embodiment, the support strip 4 is mounted axially in the longitudinal direction of the roll 2 and surrounds the bale unit.

Fig. 3 shows another embodiment in which the carrier strip 4 is formed on only one longitudinal side of the package unit 1 and has three carrier regions 41 formed by covering the adhesive layer. A corresponding support strip 4 can also be formed on the opposite side of the roll.

According to the embodiment of FIG. 4, the carrier strip 4 is formed only in a partial region of the circumference of the roll 2. In this case, the adhesive portion of the strip 4 is designed to create a carrier region 41 of the desired width and to allow a reliable absorption of the load.

Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment of the bale unit 1 on which the carrier strip 4 is supported over the end side of the roll 2. This embodiment is advantageous especially when the bale unit 1 is preferably to be gripped on one end side.

According to FIG. 6, it is also possible to form a single support region in the direction of the main axis of the coil 2, in which case the support means 4 is in the form of a bone in order to achieve a relatively large area for introducing forces into the packaging material in the case of a relatively short support strip.

Fig. 7 shows a further embodiment of the package unit 1 according to the invention. The carrier portion used herein is designed as a loop 42, arranged to substantially circulate around the package unit 1 and adhered to the wrapping material in this region.

As is evident from the various embodiments, it is possible for the number and arrangement of the support regions to be selected as needed and arranged according to the respective requirements.

The effective length of the wear area can be made as desired, taking into account the respective area of use, for example whether the package unit is caught with one hand or two hands.

Further, the carrier region 41, 41 'may be colored so that it can be immediately recognized.

In a variation of the embodiment of FIG. 7, the support means may be designed as a support strip with a single support area 4Γ that only hangs on one arm, such as a sports bag or bag.
