Abstract

The present invention consists of a system for fixing a cloth, such as a tablecloth (12) to a table (14) or other flat surface, also permitting to apply to the same cloth decorative elements, in particular what is known in this technical field as "draperies" (13). Claims

System and apparatus for attaching fabric and decorative elements such as wall hangings and the like to a table, characterized in that it consists of:

- a solid hollow rectangular element (1), following the shape of the outer edge of the table to which it must be fixed and having a face consisting of two protrusions (7), upper and lower, which block the movable element inserted into the solid element;

- a movable member (2) formed by a flat surface having a rectangular shape and dimension such that it fits perfectly into the interior of the fixed member (1) such that the upper and lower sides of the movable member are blocked by protrusions (7) of the said solid member , after inserting the substance inside;

- optional means for fastening the wall or other decorative elements to the sides of the table by means of a Velcro strip (5) located on the outer surface of the mobile element (2) on which the top edge of the wall is fastened.

System and apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the movable element (2) has two recesses (8) at the upper and lower parts which coincide with the protrusions (7) of the fixed element (1);
