Súčasný stav technikyThe state of the art
V súčasnosti je známy systém, ktorého podstatou je zariadenie na plávanie proti prúdu. V princípe ide o využitie výkonného obehového čerpadla, ktoré umožňuje aj v relatívne malých nádržiach vytvoriť prúd vody, proti ktorému môžeme dlhší čas voľnejším tempom plávať. Bližšie k vstupnej dýze môžeme aj usilovne kraulovať. (publikácia: Ján Struška a kolektív Staviamé rodinné^domy, str. '120, r. v, 1989). Jedným otvorom sa voda nasáva výkonným obehovým čerpadlom, aby sa vzápätí vháňala pod hladinou späť do bazéna. Najmodernejšie zariadenia (podľa firemnej literatúry firmy Krtilland) nevyžadujú vytváranie otvorov v stene bazéna, ale sa jednoducho upevnia na rovný okraj bazéna. Dôležitou časťou tohoto zariadenia je výstupná dýza, ktorá musí zabezpečiť rýchlosť a množstvo prúdiacej vody.
