Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a solid antiperspirant of the anhydrous or low water dispersion bar type, wherein the sweat-reducing active ingredients are dispersed in a carrier consisting of a liquid, non-polar carrier material, strengthening fatty or waxy ingredients and surfactants.
Doterajší stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Various forms of cosmetics have been marketed to inhibit sweat secretion and to prevent body odor, of which solids are particularly popular for ease of use and practical use. The matrix of such solid preparations must, on the one hand, have a certain hardness and resistance to shape, but on the other hand, it must be able to spread well under the light pressure on the skin. These consistency properties can be achieved, for example, with gel-hardened water-alcohol or water-glycol preparations. Such solid formulations have the disadvantage that acidic aluminum salts, such as aluminum chlorohydrate, cannot be finally treated in such soap-gel bars.
Therefore, the so-called anhydrous dispersion solid preparations have become of particular importance. These compositions consist of a dispersion of fine particulate aluminum or zirconium astringent salts in a non-polar carrier liquid reinforced with gel-forming or wax-like fatty components. As non-polar carrier fluids, for example, hydrocarbons or silicone oils may be used, preferably those having boiling points below 200 ° C or some volatility, for example cyclic siloxanes (cyclomethicone) and mixtures thereof with skin-softening oil components.
Such anhydrous dispersion solid preparations occasionally have the disadvantage that the inhibitory effect of astringent salts on sweat formation does not act quickly and intensely enough. Although hydrophilicization of the solid mass has been achieved by the addition of surfactants, the washability of the skin or clothing remains has also been improved. For example, US-4,151,272 discloses solid antiperspirants containing up to 5% by weight of a polyglycol ether of a fatty alcohol. EP 491 843 B1 discloses solid antiperspirant compositions which contain an addition product of 10 moles of propylene oxide and butanediol to reduce the Weissel effect. EP 777 463 B1 discloses solid antiperspirants which contain 11,12-dihydroxystearic acid as a strengthening fatty or waxy component.
However, the known solids still have various disadvantages. For example, solids having a low content of reinforcing wax components tend to heat up in the heat. Solids whose liquid carrier components contain no polar components have too weak an antiperspirant effect. It has now been found that solid antiperspirant solids with a relatively high content of firming fatty or waxy ingredients also exhibit high potency and a rapid sweat inhibitory effect when the liquid carrier component contains a higher proportion of polar oil components such as liquid, branched alkanols, alkanedioids or liquid dialkyl ethers, in each case having from 12 to 24 carbon atoms.
Podstata vynálezuSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The astringent salts should be fine-particle, their mean particle size should be less than 100 µm and preferably less than 50 µm. Particular preference is given to using an aluminum salt of aluminum hydroxide of the formula Α 2 (ΟΗ) δΟΙ · 2-3 H 2 O in an amount of 15 to 25% by weight.
It has been found to be particularly advantageous for the rapid onset of action and high efficacy when the astringent salts are coated or impregnated with a water-soluble, nonionic surfactant. Particularly preferred surfactants for this purpose have been shown to be alkyl (oligo) -glycosides which have been applied in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by weight on the surface of the salt particles.
However, all saturated, linear C 14 and C 22 fatty alcohols, C 14 -C 22 saturated fatty acid triglycerides, saturated linear wax esters (fatty acid and fatty alcohol esters) are more or less suitable as a strengthening fatty or wax component. 28-44 carbon atoms or mixtures thereof.
