Abstract

A method for clearing bank notes in electronic game machines includes a plurality of machines each having a bank note box. The method includes providing a control system linking to the machines. The control system regularly or passively receives commands to make the machines in a waiting state for bank note clearing operation, and also detects whether the bank note box is opened and bank notes taken by operators. In the event that the bank note box is opened, the control system requests the machine to send the registered bank note amount and stores the sent bank note amount. The control system detects whether all the machines have sent the bank note amount and presents a bank note clearing operation finished message. Operators enter the actual bank note clearing value manually after getting the bank note clearing operation finished message, and a correct bank note clearing result can be generated.
