Abstract

The present invention relates generally to a method of detecting exposure of an animal including a human, to a coronzvirus or immunological relative. More, particularly, the present invention relates to immunological analysis of a biological sample taken from an animal including a human, in order to determine if the animal including a human had been exposed to a coronavirus or immunological relative thereof. The present invention further provides medical diagnostic kits for the detection of coronaviruses or immunological relatives thereof.
