Abstract

Methods and systems for transmitting audio sound An audio sound generation system includes an audio beam generation module 1 which generates a narrow audio beam within a space 2 including an intended listener 3. A listener position determination module 4 detects the position of the listener 3 in an indoor environment. A control module 5 receives the position output by the listener position determination module 4 and controls the audio beam generation module 1 such that, based on the determined listener position, the control module 5 dynamically steers the audio beam to a location including the listener 3. The control module 5 will continuously adjust the audio beam generation module 1 to ensure that the audio beam 2 always covers the listener.
