Abstract

The brush in the swivelling head is carried on a mounting plate which may be vertically moved and a slit extends across the full width of the suction head. A wheeled rear section has an angled suction tube connecting to the remote vacuum cleaner body and the brush section is pivoted so that the sole plate is in contact with the floor at all times. The suction head of a remote vacuum cleaner is connected by an angled tube (5) to a wheeled (2) rear section (4) on which is pivoted (3) the front section (6) carrying a brush holder which is moveable vertically through a slit (11) by a control (8). A sole plate (9) contains a suction slot (13) and duct to the suction tube opening.
