Abstract

A process for the preparation of one of the enantiomers of an amine of formula (I) which comprises resolution of a racemate of the corresponding carboxylic acid and Curtius rearrangement of the desired enantiomer from said resolution, the other enantiomer from said resolution being subjected to a racemization for conversion to said desired enantiomer and recirculation of the latter to said resolution and Curtius rearrangement operations.
