Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for treating boards, characterised in that the boards are held substantially vertical and that spraying with a treating liquid is performed mainly against the upper edge of the boards as well as against an upper region of the side surfaces of the boards. The invention also relates to a device for treating boards, characterised in that it comprises means (68, 72) for holding the boards substantially vertical, a pump (100) connected to a liquid source (29) and able to pump liquid under a certain pressure, and a nozzle (60) connected to said pump (100), whereby the nozzle (60) is able to spray the upper edge of the boards as well as the upper regions of the side surfaces.
