Abstract
The invention relates to a method for continuous recovery of, for example, rubber through pyrolysis. The pyrolysis products such as gas or oil are burnt and fed to the raw material counter-current in a last step before the feeding into the pyrolysis for expelling of oxygen and preheating of the material. The invention also comprises an arrangement for performing the method which includes an elongated pyrolysis chamber (5) having feeding devices (23) for the material intended for being pyrolysed, whereby the feeding device comprises a vertical silo (1), a hauling and/or preheating device (2) having an inerting zone (3) running from the underside of the silo (1) and terminating in a shaft-shaped dropping device (12) for the material into the chamber (5).
