Abstract

Composting device for breaking down organic waste with microorganisms in cooperation with worms, consisting of a container which is provided with one or more openings 11 for throwing in the organic waste; the container comprises at least one lower space 13 containing an insulating material, and at least one upper space 14 which is intended for breaking down the organic waste, with the lower space 13 being kept separated from the upper space 14 by means of a partition 3 which is perforated by openings, and with the insulating material and the organic waste being arranged in their respective spaces such that they at least partially adjoin each other at the partition 3. <IMAGE>
