Abstract

A connection between a tubular beam or bracket (16) and a tubular post (10), in which one end of the bracket is inserted through an opening (12) in the post. The bracket has mounted therein a flat, elongated rail (20) having a transverse ridge (24) on its outer end. The ridge lies substantially above a plane through the rail and is able to take a free position between the levels of the upper and lower walls (16A, 16B) of the bracket when the rail is in a free position. The rail is suspended on a bolt (26) which can be screwed so as to lift the rail to a working position in contact with the upper wall of the beam, where the ridge lies in the extension of the upper wall. In this position, expanding concrete is injected into the post and the bracket.
