Abstract

The belt lock (17) comprises a movable lock part (15) and a counterpiece (18) between which the belt (9) in the lock inactive position passes freely. A manoeuvring component (19) moves the lock part (15) from the inactive to the locked position, and is activated during the first part of the work function of the stretcher. In a suitable format, the stretcher is released by a gas generator (10), pressure from which displaces a piston (12). The piston activates the stretcher, and after a specific piston movement, a spring (27) is released, which in turn activates the lock unit manoeuvring component.
