Abstract

Device for securing insulating material 2 against a wall 6 or the like, for example against a wall made of light concrete. The device comprises a hollow standard 1 whose length essentially corresponds to the intended thickness of the said insulating material 2, one end of the said hollow standard 1 being provided with a plate 3 or the like, suitably provided with a hole, for maintaining the insulating material 2 against the wall 6 and, in the present case, for cooperating with an applied finishing mortar or the like, and the other end of the said standard 1 being designed as an expandable securing member 4 which is intended to be expanded by an expansion member 5 which can be introduced through the hollow standard 1 and is thereby clamped in a cavity 7 made in the said wall, and which expandable securing member 4 is divided or subdivided into at least two parts 4a, 4b which are provided with flanges and are intended to be expanded by the said expansion member 5. In the nonexpanded state, the flanges of the said parts 4a, 4b overlap each other, and the said flanges, when the said parts 4a, 4b are expanded by means of the expansion member 5, are intended to essentially bridge the gaps which are formed between the said parts 4a, 4b when the expansion takes place. <IMAGE>
