Abstract
Support structure for a liquid-cooled expansion nozzle, fixed by a flange to a rocket-engine combustion chamber and having a nozzle structure 14 which is relatively rigid in the longitudinal and circumferential directions, in particular for a spiral-wound expansion nozzle made from rectangular cooling tubes. A connection ring 2 is connected in a fixed manner to the flange 15, on the combustion chamber side, of the expansion nozzle, several longitudinal members 3 distributed around the perimeter of the nozzle extend from the connection ring 2 in the direction of the end, at the outlet side, of the nozzle, the longitudinal members 3 are held like a cage by one or more rings 4 placed in the circumferential direction, and elastic compensation elements 5 are placed between the support cage and the nozzle structure. <IMAGE>
