Abstract

The stand accommodates a rotary drum winding in or unwinding cable, rope etc, and comprises supports assembled at each drum end for the ends of a shaft on which the drum turns. Each support comprises two legs hinging together, one with a wheel (17) at one end supporting it from the ground. A winch with rope (23,21) is coupled between the legs, so as to lift and lower the drum.
