Abstract

The filter housing comprises two parts (A), (B) which contain the changeable filter. The inlet is part of (A) and the outlet part of (A). Air to pass through the filter element to escape. The element extends from the region adjacent to the sealing, surface in part (A) to a similar region in (B). There are two sealing collars (C) and (D). (C) is kept in position partly by bearing on the free end of the element and partly by the collar touching the sealing device. At the lower end the sealing collar (D) has a soft. elastic sealing device.
