Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement of units known per se for utilisation of poor-grade fuels with low calorific value, in particular wood waste, for generating heat in boiler installations with small heating capacities. <??>According to the invention, waste wood in lumps is gasified in a wood gas generator and supplied to a multi-component combustion device for combustion. Dustlike to fine-grained combustible material is introduced into this gas flame via a supply device. A measruing and control device, in association with an electrically heated heat exchanger connected downstream of the wood gas generator, ensures safe and environment-friendly operation.
