Abstract

The invention relates to a process for the preparation of tablets and capsules which are readily absorbed and contain medicinal derivatives of 1,4-dihydropyridine, especially nifedipine. According to the invention, granules or a solution, which also contain sugar alcohol or mixtures thereof, are prepared from the medicinal agent before it is processed to its final administration form.
