Abstract

The window or door which is equipped with a turn-and-tilt fitting possesses, for the selective limitation of the opening between the fixed frame (1) and the tilted wing (2), a swivel link (7) which is articulated at the point (9) on the vertical handle-side spar (10) of the fixed frame and which, in the tilted position of the turn-and-tilt fitting, is coupled to a guide piece (6) of an espagnolette (5). The espagnolette (5) is actuated via the handle (4) of the turn-and-tilt fitting. Articulated on the swivel link (7) at the point (25) is an additional arm (11) which is connected in an articulated manner to a slide mounted movably in a C-shaped groove of the spar (10). The slide has a clamping web which is located outside the chamber and extends parallel to the outer face (16) of the spar (10) and which is mounted slidably in a recess of a housing (21) fixed to the spar (10) and can be secured to the spar (10) by clamping via a grip (23) pivotable about a horizontal axis. A continuous adjustability of the tilt opening between the maximum opening and the closed position of the wing is thereby achieved. <IMAGE>
