Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing plastic tubes with a diameter of 5-30 m. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the tube 1 is made from a number of tube units 2 arranged with approximately the same diameter as the tube, said tube units being made from a number of annular elements 3 placed with approximately the same diameter as the tube unit, and made in a hollow shape from a thermo- plastic material, said annular elements consisting of entire rings piled onto each other and united with each other, whereby both end portions of the tube units are each provided with a flange 4, consisting of an e.g. metallic material, for the successive joining of the tube units into tubes. <IMAGE>
