Abstract

The drier is e.g. for grain and has a rotary cylindrical drum in a housing. The housing has an intake for the untreated material and an outlet. The drum has a perforated air-permeable casing (12), mounted between air chambers (37,38) connected respectively to the inlet (39) and outlet (40). Air flowing between the inlet and outlet must thus pass through it and the material (16) contained in it.
