Abstract

The present invention concerns an arrangement for closing and continuous regulating of an outlet from a container for molten metal at high temperature, especially metallurgical containers such as pouring ladles, with bottom outlet. The arrangement according to the invention essentially comprises a system of two plates 5, 6, which can move in relation to the axis of a jet from the outlet and are arranged to allow closing or opening of the outlet opening 3 and to maintain at least two perpendicular planes of symmetry underneath for the outlet channel that is formed by the outlet nozzle and the plates. <IMAGE>
