Abstract

The specification discloses a polymer and the method of using the same to prepare articles of manufacture, the composition comprising a water-soluble salt of a polymer containing pendant groups derived from an unsaturated drying oil fatty acid hydroxyamide, carboxy groups, carboxy ester groups and optionally the residues of other unsaturated addition polymerizable monomers, the carboxy units being present in a critical amount and the polymer having a critical glass transition temperature, molecular weight and the like.
