Abstract

There is provided a rotor system (100) for a pump to be for water treatment. The rotor system comprises a rotor shaft (110) extending along an axis, A, and a housing (120) arranged to at least partially enclose the rotor shaft and configured to enable relative rotation with respect to the rotor shaft. The rotor system further comprises a propeller unit (130) mounted on the rotor shaft, wherein the propeller unit comprises a propeller body (132), and wherein the propeller body at least partially encloses the rotor shaft. The housing comprises a guard extension arranged circumferentially, relative to the rotor shaft, around the propeller body for at least partially enclosing the propeller body, thereby forming a slit between the propeller body and the guard extension.

Claims (10)
