Abstract
A metal sleeve coupling for use in a joint between ventilation ducts and/or accessories, flaving a central axis providing a length of the metal sleeve coupling and sleeve boundary providing a radial perimeter wall along the length surrounding an inner sleeve space, the length of the metal sleeve coupling is made up by a first end portion and a second end portion and therebetween a intermediate portion, and each end portion is provided with at least one groove in the perimeter wall for expandable fire sealing material , the groove is protruding radially inwards or outwards. A joint using a metal sleeve coupling. A method for providing a joint between elongated ducts or connecting pieces having a fibre layer and an inner layer of steel foil and a standard duct or accessory, positioning a metal sleeve coupling in an open end opening of a flow space.
