Abstract
The invention relates to an arrangement (10) and a system for determining the ability of an object to remain in balance. The objectis constituted by a bipedal animal, a bipedal bird or a bipedal robot, and it has an anteriorposterior extent and a medio-lateral extent. The arrangement comprises a monitor unit (30) monitoring the anterior-posterior and medio-lateral acceleration of the object, and a computing unit (50) computing the displacement and movement of the object’s centre element. It integrates the anterior-posterior acceleration and the medio-lateral acceleration and performs an adjustment so that low acceleration and small displacement coincide in time.The invention also relates to a garment comprising such a system.
