Abstract

The invention relates to a cigarette lighter device. The cigarette lighter is insertable into the sleeve 3, 3', in which the cigarette lighter 2, 2' in its inserted position is adapted with its ignition button 7 to cooperate with a stop 4 located in the front end portion 12 of the sleeve 3, 3'. The lighter 2, 2' is displacable inside the sleeve 3, 3' from a first, inactive position to a second, active position when the lighter 2, 2' has been displaced towards the stop 4 and this has caused impression of the lighter button 7 on the lighter so as to ignite a gas leaving the nozzle 9 of the lighter. The gas flow passes through an opening 11 located in the front end portion 12 of the sleeve 3 adjacent the stop 4.
