Abstract

The jaws (6', 6'', 7', 7'') of the sawblade positioning device (6, 7) are connected via transmission parts (36, 37) to a clamping device (35) comprising a pressure device (22, 23, 40) for moving the jaws together and a force generating device for forcing the jaws apart. The position of at least one sawblade (4, 5) can be altered along a shaft (2) using a positioning device which can be moved along and fixed into position on an axis (C2) parallel to the shaft. The positioning device comprises two jaws which can be moved together to guide the main body of the sawblade and moved apart to allow the positioning device to be detached from the sawblade.
