Abstract

The invention relates to an outdoor cabinet (1) housing electrical equipment (17). A climate control apparatus (38) is arranged in a door (11) of the cabinet. A duct sys-tem (23) extends through the cabinet, and said duct system has at least one air inlet (25) and at least one air outlet (27) in flow communication with corresponding openings (35, 37) of the climate control apparatus (38) when the door is closed. The climate control apparatus (38) circulates an air flow through the duct system (23). A deflection means (50) is arranged in the vicinity of the air outlet (27), and is capable of deflecting the air flow exiting the air outlet (27) toward the air inlet(s) (25) when the door is open. Hereby, a protective air curtain is created in front of the heat gen-erating equipment (17).
