Abstract

FIELD: devices for preparation of raw material mixtures in manufacture of building, refractory and chemical materials. SUBSTANCE: rod-type mixer has immovable housing 4 with inlet branch pipe 5 and outlet branch pipe 6, revolving perforated drum 1, blades secured on drum outside and drive. Total area of perforation is equal to 0.22 to 0.65 of cylindrical surface of drum 1; mixing blades 8 are located on drum 1 in helical lines. Rod-type batch-operated mixer has blades of one half of drum 1 and blades of other half of drum 1 which are mounted helically in opposite directions for concentration of material in center of mixer near discharge branch pipe 6. Mixer is located at angle of 3 to 12 deg towards loading; blades 8 retard motion of material to discharge branch pipe 6. Rods of mixer may be made in form of steel pipes whose ends are blanked off with metal plugs. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
