Abstract

FIELD: lubricating oil additives. SUBSTANCE: method includes neutralizing alkylsalicylic acids with alkali- earth metal hydroxide in presence of mineral oil and hydrocarbon solvent, treating neutralization product to remove solid particles, and treating it with carbon dioxide and alkali-earth metal hydroxide in presence of hydrocarbon solvent and promoter at 65-80 C with 0.5- 35% water based on alkali-earth metal alkylsalicylate weight. Solvent and promoter are then stripped and resulting additive is set free from solid particles. In order to provide higher yield of additive and reduce its viscosity, neutralization product, prior to be treated to remove solid particles, is treated at 70-90 C with alkylsalicylic acids taken in quantity 5-30% based on reaction mixture weight. EFFECT: accelerated process with no loss in additive quality.

Claims (1)

Способ получения высокощелочной алкилсалицилатной присадки к смазочным маслам относится к нефтехимии, а конкретно - к способам получения высокощелочных алкилсалицилатных присадок к смазочным маслам. Способ включает нейтрализацию алкилсалициловых кислот с числом углеродных атомов в алкильном радикале 9-26 гидроксидом щелочноземельного металла в присутствии минерального масла и углеводородного растворителя, очистку продукта нейтрализации от механических примесей и обработку его диоксидом углерода и гидроксидом щелочноземельного металла в присутствии углеводородного растворителя и промотора при температуре 65 - 80o С и добавлении воды в количестве 0,5 - 35 мас.% в расчете на алкилсалицилат щелочно-земельного металла. Затем растворитель и промотор отделяют, полученную присадку очищают от механических примесей. Для обеспечения более высокого выхода присадки и снижения ее вязкости продукт нейтрализации перед очисткой обрабатывают алкилсалициловыми кислотами в количестве 5 - 30% на реакционную смесь при температуре 70-90oС. Then the solvent and promoter are separated, the resulting additive is purified from mechanical impurities. To ensure a higher yield of the additive and reduce its viscosity, the neutralization product is treated with 5–30% alkyl salicylic acids in the reaction mixture at a temperature of 70-90 o C. before cleaning. The invention allows to speed up the process while achieving high quality readings of the obtained additive.
