Abstract

FIELD: mechanical engineering; spark ignition internal combustion engines; maintenance and repairs. SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for checking knocks in internal combustion engines with forced ignition by measuring ionization current in combustion chamber flame by means of sensor installed inside combustion chamber and connected with supply source and recorder. Peculiarity of method is use of spark plug as ionization current sensor, the same plug being used for ignition of working mixture. Ionization current is measured at shielding the measuring electric circuit from high voltage of spark plug. For this purpose high voltage resistor with threshold element is placed in sensor circuit. EFFECT: improved quality of checking.

Изобретение относится к контролю детонации в двигателях внутреннего сгорания с искровым зажиганием и может быть использовано при регулировке двигателей в стационарных условиях и в процессе ремонта и эксплуатации. Предложен способ контроля детонации в двигателях внутреннего сгорания с принудительным зажиганием путем измерения ионизационного тока в пламени камеры сгорания от датчика внутри камеры сгорания, соединенного с источником питания и с регистрирующим прибором. Отличием предложенного способа является то, что в качестве датчика ионизационного тока используют ту же свечу зажигания, что и для воспламенения рабочей смеси, и измерение ионизационного тока детонации осуществляют в условиях защиты измерительной электрической цепи от действия высокого напряжения искры зажигания, для чего в цепь датчика вводят комбинацию высоковольтного сопротивления с пороговым элементом.The invention relates to the control of detonation in internal combustion engines with spark ignition and can be used when adjusting engines in stationary conditions and during repair and maintenance.
