Для повышения эффективности очистки табачного дыма от вредных веществ фильтрующий мундштук содержит цилиндрический корпус с входным и выходным отверстиями. Во входное отверстие устанавливается табачное изделие, а через выходное отверстие выходит дым при курении. Между отверстиями в корпусе размещается поглощающий элемент так, чтобы у выходного отверстия образовалась продувочная камера. Поглощающий элемент состоит из гранул вещества, имеющего эндотермическую реакцию при растворении в воде, при этом гранулы выполнены размером от 0,5 мм до 2 мм.
