Abstract

FIELD: wearing apparel.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of natural eyelashes extension with artificial eyelashes. Method of eyelash extension includes selection of natural lashes and gluing to each of them separate artificial lashes, on which glue is preliminarily applied, wherein glue is placed in ring with foil placed on it, which is worn on finger of one hand, and the artificial lashes gripping from the eyelash tapes is carried out with the tweezers placed in the other hand, the eyelashes extension is carried out alternately from the outer and inner corner of the eye and completed in the middle of the eye, wherein on natural lash is glued first artificial lash and then left and right of second and third artificial lashes, glue is applied on half of length of each artificial lash.

EFFECT: invention increases speed of bunch formation and, consequently, reduces time expenditures for procedure of eyelash extension, and also improves quality of adhesion of artificial eyelashes with natural, their even falling out and comfortable wear.

Description

The invention relates to a method for extending natural eyelashes with artificial ones.

One of the known methods of eyelash extension is the method of volume extension of natural eyelashes with artificial eyelashes by forming a bundle (RU Patent No. 2657694, published on 24.04.2018) with the fingers of the working active hand, while the tips of the tweezers are positioned horizontally, parallel to the eyelash line, and the handle of the tweezers is slightly tilted forward from the master, one tip of the tweezers is behind the eyelash line, the other tip of the tweezers is in front of the eyelash line so that the eyelash row is between the jaws of the tweezers. Then, closing the tweezers, tilt several eyelashes towards you, then to the right, while the tweezers are at a distance of 2-3 mm above the base of the leg of the bundle 4. Then the tweezers in the active hand are relaxed, and the bundle in an open state in the form of a fan returns to the remaining artificial eyelashes on the tape. After that, closing the tweezers, separate the bunch from the tape towards yourself and form a thin stem of the bunch with the fingers of the passive hand, which increases the area of the stem of the bunch for fastening with natural eyelashes. Next, the formed stem of the bunch is dipped in glue, then the natural eyelash is separated, moving the adjacent eyelashes, and the bunch is glued to the natural eyelashes, retreating from the root of the eyelash by 0.3-0.5 mm.

This method of forming a bunch is called "manual", and its disadvantage is that the formation of an artificial bunch in the hands of a master is unhygienic and can lead to the detachment of artificial eyelashes and the introduction of an infection into the client's eye. In addition, this method is long, and when wearing eyelashes, the loss occurs in a whole bunch, which is quite noticeable in the client's eyes. In use, these bunches twist on natural eyelashes, which causes discomfort, and they have to be combed often.

Another known method is a method for forming a bundle for volume eyelash extensions (RU Patent No. 2693505, published on July 3, 2019), which consists in holding the tweezers close to the upper edge of the tape with an adhesive strip on which the artificial eyelashes are attached, grabbing and with a sharp movement tearing off a small number of eyelashes from one half of the tape and transferring them to the other half, tightly applying and smoothing the transferred eyelashes to the adhesive strip of the tape, then tilting the transferred eyelashes to the left, while the leftmost eyelash creates the geometry of the bundle, after which all the eyelashes except one on the left are grabbed with the entire plane of the tweezers and moved to the right, then all the eyelashes except two on the left are grabbed and also moved to the right, thus, eyelash by eyelash, forming a bundle with uniform opening, after which the opened tweezers are brought to the formed bundle, the bundle is leaned on the lower valve tweezers, and close the top one, clamping the bunch of open eyelashes in the tweezers, and slightly press the eyelashes, creating a loop, then with a sharp jerk towards yourself and slightly to the side remove the bunch from the tape.

This method of forming a bunch is called “ribbon”, and it also has the disadvantages of the previous method, which consist of large time costs for forming bunches and the inconvenience of wearing such eyelashes.

A method for eyelash extension is known (patent JP 7112135 B1, published 03.08.2022), in which glue is applied to an artificial eyelash for extension and fixed to the base of a natural eyelash, then glue is applied to the base of a supporting artificial eyelash and fixed to the natural eyelash, as if wrapping the natural eyelash with artificial eyelashes with an angle of inclination of the artificial eyelashes to the horizontal plane, essentially coinciding with the angle of inclination of the eyelash to the horizontal plane.

The disadvantage of the known solution is the duration of the extension, as well as the insufficient strength of the adhesion of artificial eyelashes to natural ones, which will lead to a short period of wear.

The claimed invention is aimed at eliminating the shortcomings of the previous level of technology.

The technical result consists in increasing the speed of formation of the bunch and, consequently, reducing the time spent on the eyelash extension procedure, as well as improving the quality of adhesion of artificial eyelashes to natural ones, their uniform loss and comfortable wear.

The technical result is achieved in that the method of eyelash extension includes separating natural eyelashes and gluing individual artificial eyelashes to each of them, to which glue is first applied, while the glue is placed in a ring put on the finger of one hand with foil placed on it, and the artificial eyelashes are captured from the eyelash strips with tweezers placed in the other hand, the eyelash extension is carried out alternately from the outer and inner corner of the eye and is completed in the middle of the eye, while the first artificial eyelash is glued to the natural eyelash and then to the left and right of it the second and third artificial eyelashes, the glue is applied to half the length of each artificial eyelash.

Initially, natural eyelashes are prepared for the extension procedure. Makeup is removed from the eyelashes (decorative cosmetics, creams, oils, etc.) and degreased with special products to improve the adhesion of artificial eyelashes to natural ones.

Next, the lower eyelashes are isolated using hydrogel patches or, in case of allergic reactions, paper patches or paper tape are used.

Natural eyelashes are combed and the extension procedure begins.

The following materials and tools are used for the work: straight tweezers for selecting natural eyelashes, curved tweezers for the eyelash extension procedure, a glue ring and eyelash strips (from shortest to longest).

The method proposes to use a ring placed on one hand, while the tweezers are placed in the other hand. At the same time, since the known glue ring has a deep bowl (5-6 mm deep), which requires placing a large amount of glue and which does not allow for precise regulation of the amount of glue applied to the artificial eyelash, this invention proposes to fasten a foil to the ring with a small depression of 1-2 mm for placing the glue. This allows for a reduction in the amount of glue used, eliminates the need to remove glue residue from the ring or replace it, and also allows for regulation of the amount of glue applied to the artificial eyelash.

Pulling the foil onto the ring allows for a sufficient amount of glue to be used and for convenience when dipping the eyelash into the glue, not deep enough to insert the tweezers and prevent accidental contact with the glue. Using a ring for the eyelash extension procedure in general allows for a faster procedure due to the glue being located right next to the client's eye.

Eyelash strips (of longer and shorter lengths) are placed on the client’s lower eyelid directly on a hydrogel or paper patch, which allows for faster extensions due to direct access to the artificial eyelashes (Fig. 1).

The close location of the eyelash strips to the working area, combined with the use of a ring with foil for eyelash extensions, allows you to significantly increase the speed of work.

The technician is positioned behind the client's head, with the glue ring placed on the left hand on the middle finger on the distal phalanx, and the tweezers in the right hand. Eyelash extensions are done using the "book method", i.e. the artificial eyelashes are glued on one by one, starting from the outer corner of the eye, then from the inner corner of the eye, and closed in the middle of the eye. This method allows you to avoid gluing the eyelashes together and ensures maximum detailing of each eyelash.

With the left hand, hold the straight tweezers vertically and tilt them slightly towards you and select one natural eyelash, while the other eyelashes should be well isolated to avoid gluing (Fig. 2). With the right hand, use the curved tweezers to grasp one artificial eyelash by its middle to avoid bending, while the tweezers are positioned parallel to the eyelash strip.

Next, half of the artificial eyelash is dipped into the glue, as shown in Fig. 3. And glued to the natural eyelash with an indentation from its root of 0.3-0.5 mm, while first the tip of the artificial eyelash is glued to the natural one, and the rest of it is completely placed on the natural one, ensuring a tight bond (Fig. 4).

In the same way, grab the second artificial eyelash and glue it to the side of the already extended eyelash and the third one to the other side, as shown in Fig. 5.

By adjusting the position of the second and third artificial eyelashes and the angle of the second and third artificial eyelashes to the left and right, respectively, you can adjust the volume of the bunch. For example, to achieve more voluminous extensions and the effect of "lush eyelashes", the bunch is formed more open. With a less open bunch, the visual volume will look slightly smaller. Some methods have strict adherence to the degree of opening of the bunch for longer wear, due to the fact that they carry out a single dipping of the entire bunch in glue. With this technology, you can adjust this yourself, since each eyelash is immersed in glue. Due to this, an even individual loss of extended eyelashes is also ensured during wear, which allows you to significantly increase the service life of this extension.

Thus, an increase in the extension speed was achieved by using a ring with foil for glue and gluing eyelash strips to the patch, as well as an improvement in the quality of extension and the service life of eyelashes by forming a voluminous bundle by gluing artificial eyelashes to natural ones using the “book method”.

A method of eyelash extensions, including the separation of natural eyelashes and gluing individual artificial eyelashes to each of them, to which glue is first applied, characterized in that the glue is placed in a ring with foil placed on the finger of one hand, and the artificial eyelashes are grabbed from the eyelash strips with tweezers placed in the other hand, the eyelash extensions are performed alternately from the outer and inner corners of the eye and are completed in the middle of the eye, while the first artificial eyelash is glued to the natural eyelash and then to the left and right of it the second and third artificial eyelashes, the glue is applied to half the length of each artificial eyelash. 2. The method according to item 1, characterized in that the lower eyelashes are fixed with a hydrogel or paper patch before extension. 3. The method according to item 2, characterized in that the eyelash strips are placed under the eye on a hydrogel or paper patch. 4. The method according to item 1, characterized in that the natural eyelash is separated using straight tweezers. 5. The method according to item 1, characterized in that the artificial eyelash is captured from the eyelash strip using curved tweezers and glue is applied to it by dipping half of its length into the glue placed on the foil of the ring. 6. The method according to item 1, characterized in that the gluing of the second and third eyelashes is carried out at an angle. 7. The method according to item 1, characterized in that the artificial eyelash is glued to the natural eyelash with an indentation from its root of 0.3-0.5 mm.
