The device contains a washing bath with a drain hole, a disk with activator blades and an auger enclosed in a casing installed in it on a vertical drive shaft, as well as an intake socket made as a drive and in the form of a hollow truncated cone facing down with a large base, equipped with blades with its inner surface and installed with a gap relative to the casing of the auger. The device additionally contains a device for draining water from the bath cavity, consisting of a filter placed in the bath cavity in its bottom part, a pipeline, one end of which is connected to the specified filter, and the other end is passed through the bath body in its upper part, below the level of the drain hole, and equipped with a valve. The device additionally contains a drain pipeline, which is connected to the bottom part of the bath, from its outer side, and is equipped with a valve.

Description

The invention relates to agricultural engineering, in particular, to devices for washing root crops.

A device for washing root crops is known, including a washing bath, a disk with activator blades and an auger enclosed in a casing, and also an upper additional and a lower main nozzle installed on a vertical drive shaft. At the same time, the intake part of the casing is made in the form of a perforated cylinder passing through the hole of the upper additional nozzle. The lower main nozzle is located under the upper nozzle and is made to form a cavity for water supply from the pump through the pipeline. The inner wall of the main nozzle is perforated with holes, thereby forming a cone annular sprinkler. From below, a cylindrical guide is attached to the lower main nozzle, connected by a side window made in it. A loading window is located in front of the guide. The main disadvantage of this device is its complexity of design.

The closest technical solution, chosen as a prototype, is a device for washing root crops, including a washing bath, installed in it on a vertical drive shaft, a disk with activator blades and an auger enclosed in a casing, as well as an intake bell, made driven and in the form of a hollow truncated a cone facing down with its large base, equipped with blades from its inner surface and installed with a gap relative to the screw casing (A.S. USSR No. 1184516, A23N 12/02, 06/02/1983) [2].

The disadvantage of this device is that it does not provide high quality washing of root crops.

The objective of the invention is to create a device that improves the quality of washing root crops.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that it additionally contains a device for draining water from the bath cavity, consisting of a filter placed in the bath cavity - in its bottom part, a pipeline, one end of which is connected to the specified filter, and the other end is passed through the bath body in its upper part, and below the level of the drain hole, and is equipped with a valve. In addition, it additionally contains a drain pipe, which is connected to the bottom of the bath, from its outer side, and is equipped with a valve.

Taken together, this allows you to create a device that provides an improved quality of washing root crops due to the supply of clean water to the washing bath and the possibility of washing the device.

The device for washing root crops consists of a tub 1 of a welded structure with a drain pipe 6. Inside it, a drive shaft 3 is vertically installed with a fixed conveying screw in the form of an auger 5, placed in a casing 2 with an unloading window 4. A disk with activator blades 10 is fixed in the lower part of the shaft 3. An intake bell 13 is rigidly attached to the lower section of the auger 5, made in in the form of a hollow truncated cone with its large base facing down. At the same time, the socket 13 is equipped with blades from its inner surface (not shown) and is installed with a gap relative to the casing 2. The device for washing root crops additionally includes a device for draining water from the bath cavity, consisting of a filter 9 placed in the bath cavity 1, - in its bottom part, the water drainage pipeline 8, one end of which is connected to the specified filter 9, and the other end is passed through the body of the bath 1 in its upper part, and below the level of the drain hole 6, and is equipped with a valve 7. In addition, it additionally contains a drain pipeline 11, which is attached to the bottom of the bath 1, from its outer side, and is equipped with a valve 12.

Device for washing root crops works as follows. Bath 1 is filled with water to the level (in the figure it is shown by a dashed line) of the drain hole 6. At the same time, the loader conveyor (not shown) evenly supplies root crops into the bath 1, which, under the action of gravity, descend into its bottom part. The disk with the blades of the activator 10 and the auger 5, rotating with the drive shaft 3, create a rotational movement of water in the tub 1. The intake bell 13, capturing the water, supplies it from the bottom up, providing circulation. Root crops float up and are captured by auger 5, and water through the gap between the socket 13 and casing 2 enters the zone of active washing of root crops, where it meets with water flows that are in rotational motion from the activator 10. At the same time, root crops, making a chaotic movement, are intensively washed. During the washing process, the water in bath 1 is contaminated with root and tuber cleaning products and the quality of their washing deteriorates. To improve it, clean running water is supplied to the bath 1 or the device is periodically washed with clean water. Pure water is supplied to the bath 1 during operation of the device, pouring it into the body of the bath 1 from above (not shown) and, at the same time, polluted water is removed from the bottom part of the bath 1 (from below). To do this, the valve 7 is opened, and water under the action of hydrostatic pressure through the filter 9 and pipeline 8 is discharged from the bath 1. This process is carried out due to the fact that the horizontal part of the pipeline 8 is below the drain pipe 6. As a result, polluted water is removed from bath 1, while clean water simultaneously enters it. If necessary, rinse the device with clean water. To do this, valve 12 is opened - water from bath 1 is drained through pipeline 11. Then valve 12 is closed, and the device is washed with clean water. After that, the valve 12 is torn off, and the used water is also drained through the pipeline 11. Finally, the valve 12 is closed, and the bath 1 is filled with clean water up to the drain hole of the pipe 6. In this case, the valve 7 is closed.

The supply of clean water to the device during its use, while draining the contaminated water, as well as washing the device with clean water, significantly improve the quality of washing root crops. Thus, based on the proposed technical solutions, it seems possible to create a device that improves the quality of washing root crops.
