It's no bigger than a baseball bat, and there's always a suitable place for it in the car. The working blade of the shovel is performed by unfurling multiple plates; for especially picky car owners, the plates in the package can be made so that the unfurled shovel blade is rectangular in shape, etc. If executed successfully, the shovel will have a bright future and it will be manufactured in millions of copies, but for this it will need reliable patent protection.

Description

The shovel operates on the fan principle and under the storage and transport conditions of FIG. 1 is a rectangular package 4 of plates 8, 9 of FIG. 2. Telescopic handle 2 with through holes 3 is shown in the maximally extended position and an icebreaker element 1 is mounted on its free upper end 1. Through holes 5, 6, 7 are made in the middle and along the edges of the package, through which the package is fixed to the handle with stainless steel bolts or plastic and wing nuts. In all figures, bolts and nuts are not separately drawn for simplicity and clarity from the verbal description. The adjacent plates of the package are interconnected by metal rings 9 in FIG. 1, 2, which, when sweeping the shovel, like a fan, pull the plates one after another and provide them with an "overlap".

To work with a shovel, according to the attached instructions, the required type of sweep is selected. FIG. 2 and 4 - for cleaning large snowdrifts, fig. 3 and 5 - for cleaning narrow gauge or trench, etc. at the discretion of the user. After choosing the type of reamer, one bolt is left in the package, for example 6 in FIG. 2, and the other two are carried to the shovel handle or other place.

To obtain a working blade of a shovel with a diameter of 50 centimeters, only 10 plates with dimensions of 50 × 8 cm are needed. When folded for storage and transportation, the shovel can turn out to be smaller than a baseball bat and it will always find a convenient place in the car.

A motorist's multifunctional folding shovel, containing a telescopic handle with several through holes and an icebreaker element, characterized in that the working blade of the shovel is made of the required number and size of rectangular plates of thin durable plastic, packed in a rectangular bag with holes in the middle and along the edges of the bag, attached through their holes to the telescopic handle with stainless steel or plastic bolts with “wing” nuts, and each plate is connected to the adjacent thin metal or plastic rings, which ensure that when the plates slide apart, they “overlap” each other like a fan.
