FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a package for smoking articles such as cigarettes. Object of the invention is to facilitate and simplify the providing of retention of the package in the deformed state providing prevention of the cigarettes falling out in its open state. The deformable package for smoking articles has an area of access to the smoking articles and a locking element. The locking element is positioned away from the access area so that it can not close the access area but provides maintenance of the package in the folded state with reduced dimensions after removal of the smoking articles from the package.

EFFECT: easement and facilitation of providing of retention of the package in the deformed state providing prevention of the cigarettes falling out in its open state.
