Abstract

SUBSTANCE: bush breaker comprises a frame with a mechanism of suspension to a tractor, a cutting working element of a cylindrical cutter type, a drive. Trap supports are installed in front of the cutter. Trap supports are installed in a single row with displacement of even trap supports relative to the odd ones in the horizontal plane with an overlap. The trap supports are made as a dihedral wedge with a transverse plate and a central angle at the top, half of which is equal or less than the angle of wood friction against steel. The trap supports are arranged below the cutter with a flat surface parallel to the plane of cutter rotation.

EFFECT: design will make it possible to increase efficiency of the bush breaker operation by means of creation of favourable conditions for young growth cutting.
