Abstract

The utility model relates to tourist equipment, namely to walking and water tourism. The tourist life jacket (hereinafter referred to as the TLV) has a dual purpose and relates to the means of individual rescue on water and human survival in the wild, it is used in walking and water trips as a life jacket during rafting and as a heat-insulating mat while on land. When folded, the TLV is a life jacket, and when unfolded, it is a tourist mat. The TLV consists of 5 segments connected by flexible connections and is a single structure. The segment consists of a flexible foam polymer material with a closed cell structure, covered with fabric. Applicable materials include foamed polyethylene, oxford fabric, and others. The segments fold into buoyancy blocks, which in turn are attached to the human body using a suspension system. The suspension system is power textile tapes sewn to the buoyancy blocks. The technical result and advantage of the SZHT over the prototype is the combination of the functions of two things: a life jacket and a tourist mat, this is a saving in weight and volume of tourist equipment in hiking and water trips.

The utility model relates to tourist equipment, namely to pedestrian and water tourism. The tourist life jacket has (hereinafter referred to as SZHT) a dual purpose and relates to means of individual rescue on water and human survival in the wild, it is used in pedestrian and water trips as a life jacket during rafting and as a heat-insulating mat while on land.

The studied similar products have only one narrow purpose and lack universality, they are either a life jacket or a tourist mat. A life jacket (USSR AS No. 161505 B63C 9/08 1990) was chosen as a prototype; the prototype consists of two shelves and a collar made of buoyant polymer covered with fabric and a suspension system. The shelves and collar have flexible connections by means of fabric. The vest is applicable for rescuing a person on the water. The vest is not applicable as a tourist mat, because it does not fold out to the length of the human body. When searching for analogs, the FIPS search engine database, the Russian segment of the Espacenet Internet service, the Patentscope database, open registers and publications were used. No similar product combining two functions was found; the studied analogs are narrowly focused on solving a particular problem. This does not allow them to be fully used as universal ones. In hiking and water trips, both weight and volume are very important, and a person's physical capabilities are limited. Therefore, combining the functions of two items into one gives this model a clear advantage.

The technical result and advantage of the SZhT over the prototype is the combination of the functions of two things: a life jacket and a tourist mat, this is a saving in weight and volume of tourist equipment in hiking and water trips. The SZhT consists of 5 segments connected by flexible connections and is a single structure. The segment consists of a flexible foam polymer material with a closed cell structure, covered with fabric. Materials such as foamed polyethylene, oxford fabric and others are applicable. The closed cell structure of foamed polyethylene provides high buoyancy and thermal insulation. The segments fold like a book into the back and chest buoyancy blocks and are attached to the human body by means of a suspension system. The suspension system is made up of textile power tapes sewn to segments 2, 4 and the connecting section between the buoyancy blocks. The tapes are not sewn to segment 3 because it will fold, and a groin tape. The chest tapes are fastened using fastex fasteners, and the groin tape is fastened with a carabiner. The chest buoyancy block consists of two segments, and the back buoyancy block consists of three segments. In Fig. 1, the SZHT is shown unfolded and functions as a tourist mat. Fig. 2 shows a diagram of folding into buoyancy blocks; the folded segments are attached to each other using Velcro. The folded buoyancy blocks are connected to each other by a connecting section to which the suspension system is sewn. The SZHT is put on over the head, resulting in 3 segments on the back (back buoyancy block) and 2 segments on the chest (chest buoyancy block).

Next, we fasten the suspension system on the chest and adjust it to size, fasten the crotch strap to the carabiner and adjust it to size. Fig. 3 shows the SZHT folded, front view. Fig. 4 shows the SZHT folded, rear view. The dorsal buoyancy block is slightly higher than the chest one, this is due to the convenience of rowing on a watercraft, so that the rower does not touch parts of the SZHT when performing paddling movements. Reflective elements are also sewn to the segments covered with the suspension system. The product can be made of fabrics of various colors, depending on the application.

The utility model is intended for implementation in the clothing industry, is made of modern polymer and textile materials. The level of complexity is the same as in the manufacture of conventional life jackets.

During the development of this useful model, a prototype was manufactured and tested in a hike. In the unfolded form, the prototype of the SZhT is a rectangle 180 cm long, 50 cm wide, 2 cm thick, consisting of 5 segments. This size is the most common in anthropometric dimensions of a person and is quite suitable for use. The prototype was tested on foot and water hikes along the Kerzhenets, Volga, Dorogucha rivers and proved its practicality and applicability. Photos of the prototype are also presented.

A tourist life jacket made from segments connected by flexible connections, characterized in that it is a single structure, where each segment consists of a flexible foam polymer material with a closed cell structure, covered with fabric, while the segments are designed with the possibility of folding into buoyancy blocks and fastening to the human body by means of a suspension system, which is power textile tapes that are sewn to the segments and the connecting section between the buoyancy blocks. 2.
