Description

 The invention relates to medical instruments, in particular to devices used for massage, and can be used, in particular, for self-massage of the face.

 It is known that "massage is a method of treatment and prevention of diseases, which is a combination of mechanical dosed effects on various parts of the human body surface by the hands of a massage therapist or special devices" [Shteregerts A. It is believed that "the direction of the massage movements should strictly correspond to the course of the muscle fibers of the massed muscle or muscle group" [Shteregerts A.E., Belaya N.A.  A device for self-massage is known, which is a chain of 12-17 wooden rollers (balls) rotating on axes attached to two parallel cords. At the ends of the chain handles are strengthened, with the help of which, stretching the chains through the body, they perform self-massage.  The disadvantages of the described analogs of the device are the ability to compress only on one (outer) side of the muscles, the mandatory use of hands for massage, the need to participate in the massage process of the second person, the inability to conduct a long massage associated with physical fatigue of the hands of the person conducting the massage, the inability to use this device for facial massage.

 The well-known "vibrating apparatus for the head in the form of a helmet (helmet) to cause vibration of the skull" [L. Kunichev Massotherapy. A practical guide. - K., Vishcha school, 1983. - S. 21]. The apparatus consists of a helmet and a handle for creating vibration associated with the helmet, while changing the position of the handle causes the helmet and scalp to vibrate.

 The disadvantages of the device are the ability to perform only vibrational massage, massage mainly the scalp, the need to participate in the process of massage of the second person, the inability to conduct a long massage associated with physical fatigue of the hands of the person conducting the massage.

 The prior art method of self-massage, including a dosed effect on the inner surface of the soft tissues of the face by increasing pressure in the oral cavity by means of energetic multidirectional compression of the teeth with a soft soft object and the implementation of chewing and facial movements (RF patent 2162668 C1, publ. 02/10/2001).

 The known method is adopted as a prototype.

 The prior art device for self-massage of the face, consisting of a helmet made in the form of a ring and elastic belts fixed to it with massage elements fixed on them (German patent 884067 A, publ. 23.07.1953).

 The known device is taken as the closest analogue.

 The main disadvantage of the prototype method, as well as the analogues described above, is the ability to compress only on one side of the muscle.

 The invention solves the problem of increasing the effectiveness of facial massage to prevent the formation of wrinkles and rapid aging of the skin by self-massage, in which mechanical action on the soft tissues of the face is carried out simultaneously from two sides - internal and external.

 The problem is solved in that, according to the method of self-massage of the face, external mechanical action on the soft tissues of the face is carried out using a device that represents a set of elastic belts with massage elements located on them, oriented along the facial muscles of the face and fixed to the helmet, and at the same time impact on the inner surface soft tissue of the face is produced by squeezing the teeth of an extraneous soft-elastic object, such as chewing gum, and the implementation of vigorous chewing and facial expressions. At the same time, the device provides for the possibility of changing the direction of elastic belts depending on the change in the direction of movement of the facial muscles with various sizes of the head.

 The main distinguishing feature of the method is the possibility of simultaneous mechanical action on the soft tissues of the face from the inside and outside, which significantly increases the effectiveness of the massage. The principle of simultaneous mechanical action on the muscles and skin of the face inside and out is completely new, a priority.

 The method of self-massage does not require manual actions from both an outsider (a massage therapist) and the individual using it, due to the design of the device intended for its implementation. Mechanical action on soft tissues from the outside, carried out by a system of elastic tapes, which also serves as a magazine for rollers exerting pressure from the outside, while providing pressure from the inside due to chewing and other facial movements of the individual.

 These distinctive features of the method and device for its implementation do not require the individual to devote special time to the training procedure and rejuvenation of the facial skin. These significant distinguishing features of the claimed device provide a solution to the problem, consisting in increasing the effectiveness of massage and simplifying the procedure for its implementation.

 The essence of the device for providing the method is illustrated by drawings, where in FIG. 1-8 shows the device, its components and the location of the device on the head and face of the individual.

The inventive self-massager consists of a helmet (Fig. 1, 2, 3, 4) and elastic belts (Fig. 5, 6) with massage elements (Fig. 7). The helmet consists of a ring 1, two intersecting curved strips 8, 9 located at an angle of 90 ^o relative to each other in the sagittal and frontal planes and rigidly attached to the ring from above, two front 2, and two rear-side 3 vertical strips, rigidly attached to ring from below at an angle of 90 ^o on both sides of the lower half-ring 10, located at the rear of the semicircle and connected with the ring of the helmet 1 by means of two vertical strips posterolateral 3 on both sides and a rear bracket 5. at two front plate are positioned s Olive 4 for fixing them elastic belts. The same olives 7 are available on the frontally located curved strip. On the front semicircle of the helmet ring 1 are three olives 6 on each side. Elastic belts consist of a central elastic part 11, which is directly intended for massage, two ends of inelastic material 12 with holes 13 for olives and pockets 14 located on them, located on the elastic part at an equal distance from each other and made of the same elastic material . The massage elements 15 are U-shaped rollers made of metal, plastic or wood, while the rollers consist of a part 16 fixed in the pocket 14 and the actual working part 17 of the massage element 15, made with a corrugated surface 18.

 The method is as follows. After you select a group of facial muscles that will undergo self-massage and training, prepare the device as follows. Massage elements 14 are inserted into the pockets of the elastic belts. A helmet is put on the head so that its lower half-ring 10 is at the back. The elastic belt is fixed on one side to the olive 4 of the front plate for the hole 13, wrapped around the face so that the direction of the elastic belt coincides with the direction of the fibers of the facial muscles of the face and fixed to the olive of the front plate on the other side, creating the necessary belt tension by selection the corresponding hole 13. Thus, in turn, other elastic belts are applied in turn according to the course of the main groups of facial muscles, while using them to fix the olive as the front pla ok 4, and the front semicircle of the helmet ring 6. Due to the fact that for some individuals the edges of the elastic belts remain free, so that they do not interfere with the massage, their free edges are fixed on the olives of the frontally curved strip 7. After application elastic belts together with massage elements on the face, place a soft-elastic element (for example, chewing gum) in the oral cavity and begin to multidirectionally compress the extraneous soft-elastic element with teeth, while simultaneously mimicking physical movements. In this case, there is a contraction of the chewing and facial muscles of the face, which leads to displacement of the skin, and massage elements located in the elastic belt and the elastic belt itself exert pressure on various skin areas, while performing facial massage. The displacement of massage elements with simultaneous pressure on the skin of the face, both externally (due to massage elements and elastic straps) and from the inside (from the side of the oral cavity), has a smoothing, kneading and rubbing effect on the soft tissues of the face.

 Self-massager prototypes were made. The method was used for 6 months in 7 volunteers of different age and gender. The subjects noted a significant improvement in the condition of the skin of the face, its turgor and color. In particular, the positive factor is noted that the self-massage procedure does not require special time and self-massage can accompany any housework and rest, for example, on the TV.

The method of self-massage of the face, including the use of a dosed mechanical effect on the internal soft tissues by increasing the pressure in the oral cavity by means of energetic multidirectional compression of the teeth with a soft soft object and the implementation of chewing and facial movements, characterized in that the mechanical effect is carried out simultaneously from the outside and inside, while the external mechanical effect is carried out using the device according to paragraphs. 2 and 3.  2. A device for implementing the method according to claim 1, comprising a helmet made in the form of a ring and elastic belts fixed to it with massage elements fixed on them, characterized in that the helmet is equipped with front vertical bars fixed from below to the lower surface of the ring from two sides , and the lower semicircle located on the back of the helmet and fixed to the ring using two posterolateral and one rear vertical bar, while the elastic belts are oriented along the facial muscles with the possibility the difference in their direction depending on the direction of the muscles at different head sizes by fixing them on olives located on the front vertical slats and the front semicircle of the helmet.  3. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that the elastic belts are made with pockets, and the massage elements are made in the form of U-shaped rollers, one part of which is fixed in the pocket of the elastic belts, and the other is working and made with a corrugated surface.
