Abstract

FIELD: furniture industry, in particular, furniture for public offices. SUBSTANCE: bench type seat has integrally bent metal carcass in the form of front part of lengthwise curved seat and seat itself, rear part of back welded to front part, and two elbow rest bases welded to carcass side. Carcass is mounted on metal support composed of four poles, which are attached at the bottom to two elbow rest bases and at the side to carcass center by means of two tension members. Bench seats may be readily connected and disconnected. Seat, back and elbow rests are covered with skin combined with foamed plastic, which may be replaced. Description

 The invention relates to furnishings for public buildings and can be used as an armchair in the auditorium, a bench for relaxation in the waiting room of the station, a sofa in the reception office, etc.

 The audience chair is known (see industrial design of the USSR 19814 class 6-01, dated 10/14/85), consisting of two interconnected soft seats with soft backs and soft elbows on supports, one of the locomotors being common for two seats, and on the seat, which will be extreme when installing in a row, a sidewall is provided. The disadvantages of the known chair are its fragility in operating conditions in public buildings due to the fact that its frame and support, which are a single unit, are made of wood, as well as its lack of stability and the possibility of shifting the chairs relative to each other when installed in a row, and therefore there is a need to fix the seats to the floor.

 Upholstered furniture for public buildings is known (see industrial design of the USSR 23143, class 6-04 of 12/01/86), which is a set of furniture consisting of a separate armchair with a soft seat and back without armrests mounted on one heavy metal support in the form a rod with a round base, located in the center of the seat, with a metal frame and a low wooden sidewall on the chair, which will be installed in the last row, and from a sofa consisting of three interconnected soft seats with three soft backs without elbows nicknames mounted on two heavy metal supports in the form of rods with round bases located in the center of the extreme seats, with a metal frame and a low wooden sidewall on the seat, which will be installed as an extreme one in a row. The disadvantages of the known upholstered furniture are the possibility of shifting sofas and chairs relative to each other when installing them in a row due to the fact that they are not fixed to the floor, as well as the inability to use this furniture in a public room used both as an auditorium and a dance hall, due to the fact that the sofa due to the heavy support cannot be turned upside down to reduce the floor space it occupies.

 The last drawback was eliminated in the set of furniture for relaxing (see the industrial design of the USSR 20700, class 6-01; 03; 04; 06 from 05/13/85), which includes, along with the table, a separate armchair with a soft seat, back and two wooden sidewalls with soft inside coatings serving as lockers, with a metal support in the form of four legs, and also a sofa from two or three soft seats interconnected, respectively, with two or three soft backs and two wooden sidewalls with soft coatings inside, serving as lockers, with a metal support th in the form of four legs.

 The disadvantages of the chair and sofa included in the set of furniture for relaxation are their lack of stability due to the possibility of shifting their center of gravity, especially when turning, if necessary, on the side surface, as well as the possibility of shifting them relative to each other when installed in a row due to that fixing them to the floor is not provided.

 The aim of the invention is to increase the stability of the seat for public buildings by eliminating the possibility of displacement of its center of gravity both in the normal working position and when turning to the side surface, if necessary, to reduce the area occupied by it, as well as eliminating the possibility of shifting the seats relative to each other when installing them in a row and one after another by connecting them together.

 This goal is achieved by the fact that in the well-known seat in the form of a sofa containing three interconnected seats with three backs and two lockers mounted on two wooden sidewalls, three seats are replaced with one seat having such a length that three people can fit on it, three backs are replaced by one back, and the seat and front part are made of a one-piece metal sheet, the back of the back and two side bases for the elbows are welded to the resulting frame, the resulting frame is held on etallicheskoy support complex configuration. Moreover, two such three-seater seats are installed one after another at a close distance on two long metal bases - "ski". The resulting section of two triple seats can be connected to other sections using specially provided locks, both when installing them in a row and one after another. The section of seats can be turned on a lateral surface since there is no need to fix it to the floor. The auditorium can be quickly converted into a dance hall.

 The invention is illustrated in the drawing, where in Fig.1 shows a side view, in Fig. 2 is a front view, and FIG. 3 is a top view of a seat section for public buildings.

 The seat for public buildings contains a one-piece metal frame in the form of a front part 1 of the backrest, curved in length to acquire a shape that meets the requirements of ergonomics, and actually a triple seat 2, the back part 3 of a metal sheet is welded to the front part of the backrest 1 and side to two bases 4 are welded by a seat from a metal pipe of circular cross-section for elbows 5. The frame is mounted on a metal support of a complex configuration consisting of four curved bent along the edges of the seat to each other, racks 6 made of a metal pipe of circular cross section, which are attached from above to the edges of the metal frame, from below to two long metal bases - "skis" 7, made from a metal pipe of square section, and from the side - by means of two braces 8 made from a pipe of circular cross section, with the center of the frame. After priming and painting the obtained metal structure, foam rubber 3 mm thick is glued to the front part 1 of the backrest, base 4 for the elbows, and 5 mm thick is glued to the seat 2. A one-piece cover made of artificial leather on a natural basis of their cotton fabric tightens the front part 1 and the back part 3 of the backrest, seat 2 and armrests 4.

 The seat for public buildings is operated as follows. Separate sections, consisting of two triple sections, can be installed in a row and one after another and interconnected by means of specially provided locks, they do not need fastening to the floor. When placing them in the auditorium, which, if necessary, is converted into a dance hall, individual sections can be quickly disconnected from each other and shifted to the edges of the hall in the normal working position or, to reduce the floor space they occupy, turned to a side surface that has an area smaller compared to the area occupied by the seat section in the normal position. At the same time, the section remains stable both in the normal position and inverted to the side surface.

 Using the invention allows to increase the stability of the seat for public buildings by eliminating the possibility of displacement of its center of gravity both in the normal working position and when turning to the side surface, if necessary, to reduce the area occupied by it, and also to exclude the possibility of shifting the seats relative to each other when installing them in row and one after another by connecting them together, so there is no need to fasten them to the floor. In addition, such a seat meets ergonomic requirements, economical in manufacturing, compact, durable. In case of wear, the foam and the cover on it can be quickly replaced.

 If the seat needs to be installed, for example, in the reception office, etc. and there is no need to connect the seat in sections and install them in a row and one after another to maintain public order and fire safety, as in the auditorium or the waiting room of the station, then the base “ski” can be shortened by 2 times in a separate triple seat. In addition, the seat can be made double or single. The stability of the seat during such transformations is maintained.

 1. A seat for public buildings, containing a soft back, a seat and elbows, a metal frame mounted on a metal support, characterized in that the metal frame is made hollow in the form of a front part of the back, curved along the length of the actual seat, back of the back welded to its front part, two bases welded on the side to the frame for the elbows, and the support consists of four pairs of racks curved towards each other, which are attached from above to the edges of the frame, from below to two long bases niyam - “skiing”, and on the side by means of extensions to the center of the frame.  2. The seat according to claim 1, characterized in that it can be made single, double, triple or multi-seat.  3. The seat according to claim 1, characterized in that two or more seats can be supported on a common base in the form of two long bases - "skis" and the resulting sections can be installed in a row and one after another and interconnected by locks.  4. The seat according to claim 1, characterized in that the actual seat, the front of the back and the elbows are glued with foam and covered, including the back of the back, with artificial leather on a natural basis made of cotton fabric.
