Abstract

FIELD: plant-originated pharmaceutical agent useful in prostatitis and prostate adenoma treatment.

SUBSTANCE: claimed agent represents complex for simultaneous administration. The first agent for internal administration contains Ezigezon grass, spring cockebur grass, garden sage leaves, cow-parnsip roots and seeds, great nettle roots and root stocks, tripartite bur-marigold grass, summer rape grass; 96 % ethanol and distilled water taken in specific ratio; the other one in enema form contains French willow grass, fir needles, killwort grass, quacking asp bark 20 % propolis tincture, 96 % ethanol and distilled water in specific component ratio.

EFFECT: accelerated treatment without disease relapse.

Description

The invention relates to medicine, namely to herbal remedies of plant origin, and can be used to treat prostatitis, as well as prostate adenoma.

As a result of market research based on materials from Internet sources, foreign drugs were identified, such as Vitaprost, Gentos, Proscar, and Trianol.

However, known drugs do not have a complex effect in the treatment of chronic prostatitis, since the pathological process of prostate disease is diverse in its clinical manifestation. In addition, well-known foreign drugs are expensive and not widely available for the Russian consumer.

As a result of a patent search in various information search systems, no analogues were found that were similar in composition to the claimed means.

Known tool for the treatment of chronic prostatitis according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2058152, class. A 61 K 35/78, publ. 04/20/96, in which a decoction of licorice root is used as a means for the treatment of chronic prostatitis.

A known method of treating chronic prostatitis according to copyright certificate No. 1697819, class. A 61 K 35/78, publ. 12.15.91, according to which candles with plant components are injected into the rectum, while three candles weighing 0.5-1.0 g are used, each of which contains respectively large celandine grass, fruits of Japanese Sophora, pharmacy chamomile flowers with the addition of sea buckthorn oil.

However, the known compounds do not have a complex effect in the treatment of chronic prostatitis.

Closest to the claimed in the qualitative content of the ingredients is a tool for the treatment of hemorrhoids, anal fissures, chronic prostatitis and the initial stages of prostate adenoma according to the RF patent No. 2036653, class. A 61 K 35/64, which contains (weight by weight in grams): propolis in an amount of 5-11, castor oil 2-4, beeswax 10-20, bee honey 5-15, pine resin 8-20, bee stalk from colored pollen 18-22, butter 7-13, ethyl alcohol 96% 8-12 and water 5-15.

However, the known agent, like the above analogs, does not provide a comprehensive treatment of prostatitis and requires a long period of treatment.

The technical task of the invention is to provide means for the clinical treatment of prostatitis in a shorter time, without relapse of the disease.

To solve the technical problem, the proposed tool, including propolis, ethyl alcohol and water, is a complex for simultaneous administration: the first agent for internal use contains small-leaved grass, acinifolia grass, sage leaves, roots and seeds of cowberry, roots and rhizomes of nettle, grass of a three-part series, grass of field cabbage (rape), 90% ethyl alcohol and distilled water in the following ratio of components in grams:

The second remedy for external use in the form of an enema contains narrow-leaved fireweed grass, fir needles, large celandine grass, aspen bark, 20% propolis tincture, 96% ethyl alcohol and distilled water in the following ratio of components in grams:

As a result of the analysis of the proposed tool, in comparison with the above analogues, as well as with the prior art in the field of medicine, including pharmacology, the applicant has not identified a composition for treating prostatitis with a combination of ingredients inherent in the claimed tool.

Prepare a tool for the treatment of prostatitis as follows.

The dry ingredients, each separately, are washed, dried and ground, then the crushed particles of the ingredient are sieved to the required particle size corresponding to the structure of the specific ingredient, then the obtained fraction of the dry ingredient, water and alcohol is taken in the following amount of ingredients (weight by weight):

The amount of ethanol 96% is taken in an amount of 20% of the volume of water.

Dry ingredients, taken in minimum, average and maximum values, are placed in a dry bowl, where the fractions of all particles are thoroughly mixed until a uniform composition is formed and poured with a water-alcohol mixture in a minimum, average and maximum number of values, respectively, to the minimum, average and the maximum number of ingredient values. Stand for 14 days to obtain tinctures.

A complex for the treatment of prostatitis is prepared as follows.

The first product for domestic consumption, consisting of ingredients taken in minimal quantities

Dry ingredients are taken in crushed, sifted form, placed in a dry, clean dish for mixing until smooth. Then the obtained herbal mixture (collection) is placed in a glass bottle with a sealed stopper and filled with a water-alcohol liquid prepared from 96% ethanol 840.0 and purified water 4200.0. All are thoroughly mixed and left in a dry, cool place for 14 days for insisting with daily shaking. After 14 days, the tincture is filtered off and left to stand for 48 hours, after which it is filtered again. Thus, the first remedy was obtained (for internal use) in the complex treatment of prostatitis.

The second agent for external use in the form of enemas is prepared according to the same technology as the first agent for internal use, from components taken in minimal quantities

Propolis tincture is used ready-made and introduced into the composition of the product, adding it to the tincture of the above plant ingredients.

Ready tincture is prescribed to patients of 50 ml diluted in 50 ml of drinking water 3 times a day 1.5 to 2 hours after eating.

In laboratory conditions of the Goryachiy Klyuch sanatorium in the Krasnodar Territory, clinical trials were conducted with specific examples of the treatment of patients with varying degrees of prostatitis disease.

Example 1

Patient N., 70 years old, was admitted with a diagnosis of inflammation of the prostate gland with signs of chronic vesiculitis.

Treatment in the hospital of the sanatorium "Hot Key" according to the generally accepted methodology did not improve. Surgical intervention was excluded due to the presence of concomitant diseases in the patient. A complex treatment was prescribed on an outpatient basis with the administration of the claimed drug, used both externally and internally. Within 70 days, the patient took a tincture prepared on the basis of ingredients taken in the following single values, weight in grams:

At the same time, microclysters (as an external agent) were made twice a day, 100 ml of tincture diluted in 100 ml of purified water containing the ingredients in the following single values:

After 60 days from the start of complex treatment, the patient's prostate gland decreased in volume and its degree of elasticity increased.

Example 2

Patient K., 72 years old, suffered more than two years of rapid painful urination, urinary retention. The treatment was the same in the hospital of the sanatorium "Hot Key". After two to three months, this patient again had symptoms of the disease: urination disorder and pain, fatigue, sleep disturbance due to frequent urges. The patient was prescribed a course of treatment on an outpatient basis, while for internal administration of the claimed funds in the form of tinctures, the composition was taken in the following single values:

After 70 days of complex administration of the claimed drug, the patient’s usual symptoms of relapse have decreased, and his health has improved markedly.

Example 3

Patient O., 49 years old. The disease manifested itself in the form of acute inflammation of the prostate gland. The use of a standard complex of therapeutic measures in a hospital removed the inflammatory process, but there were problems in the genital area. The patient was prescribed complex treatment for 70 days, in which the ingredients of the claimed drug were taken in the following unit values for internal use as a tincture:

The patient took 50 ml of prepared tincture three times a day, 1.5-2 hours after a meal. At the same time, the patient was given microclysters twice a day for 70 days, 100 ml of tincture diluted in 100 ml of purified water containing the ingredients in the following unit values:

Then, after a 30-day break, the patient was recommended to continue treatment to consolidate the improved state of health.

In example 1, the weight of dry ingredients for internal use is 140 grams, distilled water - 4200 ml and ethyl alcohol - 840 grams. For external use, the weight of dry (solid) ingredients is 155 grams, distilled water - 4650 ml, ethyl alcohol - 930 grams.

Clinical trials on an outpatient basis at the Goryachiy Klyuch sanatorium revealed new properties of the ingredients that make up the claimed drug,

Small petals grass enhances the excretory function of the prostate gland.

Narrow-leaf fireweed grass has a cytostatic and dehydrating effect on prostate tissue, reducing their volume.

Needlefoot grass has a venotonic effect on the walls of the vessels of the prostate gland.

Sage leaves enhance diffusion processes through biological membranes, thereby eliminating stagnation in tissues, including the prostate gland.

The roots and seeds of hogweed enhance sorption and osmotic processes in the tissues of the prostate gland.

The roots and rhizomes of dioica nettle reduce the permeability of the walls of the vessels of the prostate gland, thereby increasing their barrier function.

The grass of a series of tripartite increases enzymatic activity in the metabolic processes of the prostate gland.

The grass of field cabbage (rape) effectively affects the blood coagulation system, which prevents the thrombosis of the vessels of the prostate gland.

Fir needles actively stimulate peripheral circulation in the prostate gland.

Large celandine grass prevents the growth of prostate tissue.

Aspen bark eliminates the inflammatory process in the tissues of the prostate gland.

Propolis tincture 20% makes up for the enzymatic deficiency in the metabolic processes of the prostate gland.

Identified individual properties of each of the ingredients included in the composition for the treatment of prostatitis are enhanced by their combined use in the claimed tool.

Thus, the results of clinical trials are confirmed by reliable data given in specific examples 1, 2, 3 of the complex treatment of prostatitis and table 2 "Effect of the claimed drug on the symptoms of the pathological process". Table 1 presents the physico-chemical properties of the claimed funds.

According to the results of clinical trials on an outpatient basis at the Goryachiy Klyuch sanatorium, the proposed remedy provides a cure for prostatitis in a shorter time period (1-2 months), in contrast to the known analogues mentioned above (6-12 months), and the cure is stable, without relapse of the disease.

In addition, the proposed tool is based on natural, biologically active substances contained in the ingredients of the claimed funds.

Proposed for patenting agent for the treatment of prostatitis is the most effective, inexpensive and easily accessible for its practical use, reduces treatment time.
