FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: raincoat has base and veil which are made integral one with the other from tubular waterproof material. Upper part of base is bent inward so as to form double layer within which buttons and cord are fixed. Cord serves tightening material running around individual's face to form veil. Buttons and tightening cord running around individual's neck are positioned forward of and outside upper part of base face. Buttons and cord tightening base in accordance to individual's body size are positioned laterally of base along inner sides of tubular material. EFFECT: simplified construction and manufacture process, increased strength and provision for effective protection of individual from adverse weather conditions. 1 cl, 1 dwg
