Claims (1)

The method of topographic tensoalgometry, which includes a step-by-step assessment of the density of subcutaneous tissue and muscle pain sensitivity, characterized in that at the first stage, before performing the massage procedure, we set markers along landmarks — three vertical lines on the right and left sides of the back midline of the back, on each of which at equal distance is determined by 5 diagnostic points, a total of 30 points; at the 2nd stage, using the device for strain measurement, we evaluate the density (elasticity / firmness) of the skin at all previously determined diagnostic points; using the device for algometry, we evaluate the intensity of point pain in the same previously determined diagnostic points; at the 3rd stage, we enter the obtained data into two tables and build two “contour diagrams” in the Microsoft Office Excel program; analyzing the obtained diagrams, when detecting areas with increased density of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, we recommend to add mainly rubbing techniques to the massage technique, and in the presence of areas of painful muscles - methods of transverse kneading; at the end of the massage treatment course, we re-conduct the step diagnostic test using strain gauge and algometry devices at previously defined diagnostic points, compare the measurement results on the "contour charts" built in the Microsoft Office Excel program, before and after the treatment, determine the effectiveness of the course massage procedures.
